Argentina and Chile Trip Itinarary

Day 1
Travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Morning arrival in Buenos Aires, Argentina Explore the city at your leisure and get acclimated to your new surroundings by starting off with a city tour that shows you some of the highlights of the city, including the old quarters of San Telmo, the banking and business center, and the historical Government House, Congress, and the Recoleta Cemetary. You'll also get a chance to stroll down the famous Avenida 9 de Julio and the Plaza de Mayo.

Day 3 - Buenos Aires City Tour/Tango Show
Further explore the city and the parks and gardens of Palermo at your own pace and enjoy the many street cafes found on the tree-lined avenues. That evening enjoy a night out on the town, where you'll have the chance to see some Tango dancing.

Day 4 - Bariloche
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for a short flight to Bariloche. This is a great holiday spot where you'll have a chance to view the scenery and go hiking through the pristine Andes mountains. There is also white water rafting, mountain biking and horseback riding. Bariloche also features a lively nightlife and all the amenities of a modern mountain town.

Day 5 - Lake Nahuel Huapi
See the beautiful Andean peaks as you take a boat along the shores of the pristine Lake Nahuel Huapi of Bariloche.

Day 6 - Cross the Andes
Enjoy a full day boat ride that takes you through the heart of the Andes and across the Andean Lakes, which cover Argentina and Chile. See beautiful rivers, waterfalls, forests, and volcanoes along the way. In the evening, arrive in Puerto Varas and possibly travel to nearby Puerto Montt.

Day 7 - Punta Arenas
Fly to Punta Arenas. Punta Arenas is situated on the southern tip of Chile. From here you can take a 4 day cruise and see the stunning glaciers, fjords, and alpine forests and inlets of Cape Horn and finally a boat ride through the Strait of Magellan.

Day 8 - Ainsworth Bay
Transfer from hotel and board a ship that will take you on an excursion to the Magellanic forest where you can encounter an elephant seal colony on the beach and other wildlife. Continue trekking to reach Brookes Glacier Bay, which is a breathtaking sight as a wall of ice.

Day 9 - Pia Glacier and Glacier Alley
Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience, which features a cruise through the majestic Glacier Alley to see the Spain Romanche, Germany, Italy, France, and Holland Glaciers. Afterwards, the boat will take you through the Beagle Channel and into Pia Bay, where you'll disembark and hike to the mountain range where the Pia Glacier is situated.

Day 10 - Cape Horn and Puerto Williams
This morning, disembark the ship in Cape Horn National Park, to see Cape Horn, a sheer almost 425-meter-high promontory, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans merge. Continue on to Puerto Williams, the southernmost town in the world.

Day 11 - Tierra del Fuego
Spend the day exploring Ushuaia, the largest city in Tierra del Fuego, and also the starting point for Antarctic expeditions. The city is surrounded by the coastal forests, and water landmarks such as the Beagle Channel and the Straight of Megellan.

Day 12 - Buenos Aires/Return Home
Transfer to airport for flight to Buenos Aires and then to connecting flight home.
